Mark S. Wallis, M.D., F.A.A.D.
After completing his undergraduate work at Texas A&M University, Dr. Mark Wallis earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1988. Four years later, he completed his dermatology residency at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
In practice since 1992, Dr. Wallis stays abreast of the latest technological advances in his field with active memberships in the Texas Medical Association, Gregg County Medical Society, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Texas Dermatological Society, American Society of Micrographic Surgery, American Contact Dermatitis Society and the National Psoriasis Foundation. Dr. Wallis is also vice-president of the dermatology section of the Christian Medical and Dental Association. He is also a Fellow in the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Wallis is currently serving on the non-profit Board of Directors for Pine Cove Christian Camps.
Dr. Wallis and his wife, Traci, have three children: Luke, Logan and Lydia. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, computers, reading history and travel. Medical missions are an important part of his practice life as well.
Alyn D. Hatter, D.O.
Dr. Alyn D. Hatter was born and raised in the Panhandle of Texas. He attended San Angelo State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2001. He attended the University of North Texas Health Science Center and graduated in 2008 with a dual degree, Master of Science and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He fulfilled his medical internship at University Hospitals of Cleveland in 2009. Dr. Hatter completed his dermatology residency in 2012 at Case Western Reserve University, Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Hatter has lectured nationally as an expert in Dermatology and continues to publish scientific articles within his specialty.
Dr. Hatter enjoys spending time with his two children, travel, music, cooking and gardening in his free time.
Dr. Hatter joined Wallis Dermatology Associates in August 2012.
Donna Vu, M.D.
Dr. Donna Vu grew up in Longview, Texas and graduated from Longview High School in the top 2% in 2001. Dr. Vu graduated from Baylor University in 2005 with highest honors and earned summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Medicine in 2009 and was acknowledged academically with entry into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. In June of 2013, she completed her dermatology residency training, also at UTHSC San Antonio, where she served as chief resident.
Currently Dr. Vu is the only female dermatologist in the Longview area.
In addition to her dedication to dermatology and her patients, Dr. Vu enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband James, new baby, and their dogs.
Dr. Vu joined Wallis Dermatology Associates in August 2013.
