Our Physicians
Founder, Wallis Dermatology Associates
Mark S. Wallis, M.D., F.A.A.D.
Dr. Mark Wallis is the founder and managing partner of Wallis Dermatology Associates. He graduated from A&M University majoring in Biochemistry. Dr. Wallis was accepted into medical school at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where he graduated in 1988. He trained in dermatology and skin surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences from 1988-1992. Dr. Mark Wallis is a Fellow in the American Board of Dermatology and is also board-certified in Mohs surgery and cutaneous oncology.
Dr. Wallis has active memberships in the Texas Medical Association, Gregg County Medical Society, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Texas Dermatological Society, American Society of Micrographic Surgery, and the American Contact Dermatitis Society. Dr. Wallis has been named by his peers to the Super Doctors list published by Texas Monthly for multiple years and has had a number of articles published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology as well as other scientific journals.
Dr. Mark Wallis is married to Traci (Snodgrass) Wallis and they are blessed with three children and three grandsons.
The Wallis family attends Mobberly Baptist church and serve through this local body of believers.

Stanley Taylor, M.D., F.A.A.D.
Meet Robert Stanley Taylor III, M.D., F.A.A.D, MSH here at Wallis Dermatology Associates. Dr. Taylor has been a member of our team for over 2 years. He attended the University of Texas at Austin for his undergraduate degree, University of Texas Medical Branch for medical school, his internship at Oklahoma University Health Sciences, and residency at the University of Michigan. His dermatology surgery fellowship was at Oregon Health Sciences University and he earned his Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Taylor says he’s thankful to work alongside other health professionals who share the desire for compassionate and excellent patient care. When he’s not practicing dermatology, Dr. Taylor enjoys woodworking, orchard management, gardening, landscape design, and spending time with his family.

Laura Fite, M.D., F.A.A.D.
Meet Laura Paul Fite, M.D. here at Wallis Dermatology Associates. Dr. Fite has been a member of our team since 2018 and is thankful to provide the best care for her patients’ here at Wallis Dermatology Associates. Dr. Fite attended the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate degree, UT - Houston for medical school, and completed her residency at Baylor Scott & White. When she’s not practicing dermatology, Dr. Fite enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 daughters.

Luke Wallis, M.D.
Dr. Luke Wallis is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon with expertise in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. Raised in Longview, TX, he attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate education, UT Health San Antonio for medical school, and completed his dermatology residency at Rush University in Chicago, IL. He further specialized with a dermatologic surgery fellowship at the University of Mississippi. Dr. Wallis is grateful for the opportunity to provide quality patient care to the residents of East Texas. Outside of work, he cherishes quality time with his wife, Kasi, and their three sons. He enjoys playing tennis, international travel, and Texas A&M football.

Rachel Smith, PA-C
Meet Rachel Smith, PA-C here at Wallis Dermatology Associates. Rachel is a graduate from UT Pan American. She has been a Physician Assistant since 2003 and practiced in several fields of medicine including general medicine, rheumatology and dermatology. Rachel has been with Wallis Dermatology Associates since 2011 and has loved serving the East Texas area. When she is not working, she enjoys taking her dogs, Charlie, Ollie and Bella on long walks, going to the gym, running, traveling and spending time with her husband, Chad, and their children.
Tammi Short, RN, FNP-C
Meet Tammi Short, RN, FNP-C here at Wallis Dermatology Associates for the past 10 years. As a Nurse Practitioner, Tammi is thankful to be able to work with such a strong team of individuals who are committed to caring for East Texas, and provide healthcare to those with dermatological needs. Tammi attended the University of Texas at Austin to receive her bachelors of nursing, and Texas Tech University Health Science Center for graduate school in their nurse practitioner program. When she’s not at Wallis Dermatology Associates, Tammi enjoys spending time with family, attending church at St. Mary’s, and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia.
Kim Calderon, RN, FNP-C
Meet Kim Calderon, RN, FNP-C here at Wallis Dermatology Associates. Kim attended Tyler Junior College and The University of Texas at Arlington for undergraduate degrees, and then The University of South Alabama for graduate school. Kim considers it a privilege to partner with her patients to provide the best dermatological care available, while helping each patient feel confident in their skin.. When she’s not at Wallis Dermatology Associates, Kim enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two children.
Dorothy Womack, APRN, FNP-C
Meet Dorothy Womack, RN, FNP-C here at Wallis Dermatology Associates. Dorothy attended Abilene Christian University to receive her Bachelors of Nursing. Dorothy attended Texas Tech Health Sciences Center for graduate school in the Family Nurse Practitioner program. Dorothy is honored to be able to serve her hometown and surrounding areas, by providing exceptional dermatological care. When she’s not at Wallis Dermatology Associates, Dorothy enjoys painting, and spending time with her friends, husband Kendon and their daughter.
Casey English, APRN, FNP-C
Meet Casey English, APRN, FNP-C here at Wallis Dermatology Associates. Casey is a Diana, Texas native who graduated with her BSN in 2012 from The University of Texas at Tyler and went on to receive her Masters degree in Nursing from Purdue University. In her free time, Casey coaches the New Diana youth cheerleaders and enjoys kayaking, hiking, and rollerblading with her husband, Chase, and 2 children, Aiden and Aniston. Casey has a passion for providing outstanding dermatological care to East Texas alongside her Wallis Dermatology team.

Lainey Seahorn – Aesthetician
Meet Lainey Seahorn, Licensed Medical Aesthetician and Senior Laser Technician here at Wallis Dermatology Associates. Lainey has been a member of our Wallis Dermatology Associates team for 5 years and loves having the opportunity to enhance patients’ natural beauty. Lainey attended Collin College, Ogle School, and Texas Laser and Aesthetics Academy. In her free time, Lainey loves to travel to the beach or lake, run, read, listen to true crime podcasts, raise Australian Shepherds, and spend time with her husband and their 3 kids.
