Sclerotherapy & Laser Vein Treatment

At Wallis Dermatology Associates, we offer both Sclerotherapy and Laser Vein Treatments. We may recommend one option, or the other, or a combination of both depending on the patient and their needs.

Sclerotherapy is a minimally-invasive treatment used to eliminate spider veins as well as their unsightly appearance. This FDA-approved procedure involves injecting the veins with a solution to destroy them and allow them to be reabsorbed by the body. 

Time to results depend on the size of the veins treated, and may take anywhere from a few weeks to several months. Typical side effects are minimal, such as itching, swelling, and discolored skin.
