Founder, Wallis Dermatology Associates

Mark Wallis, M.D., F.A.A.D.

Dr. Mark Wallis is the founder of Wallis Dermatology Associates. He graduated from Texas A&M University majoring in Biochemistry. Dr. Wallis was accepted into medical school at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where he graduated in 1988. He trained in dermatology and skin surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences from 1988-1992. Dr. Mark Wallis is a Fellow in the American Board of Dermatology and is also board-certified in Mohs surgery and cutaneous oncology.

Dr. Wallis has active memberships in the Texas Medical Association, Gregg County Medical Society, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Texas Dermatological Society, American Society of Micrographic Surgery, and the American Contact Dermatitis Society. Dr. Wallis has been named by his peers to the Super Doctors list published by Texas Monthly for multiple years and has had a number of articles published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology as well as other scientific journals.  

Dr. Mark Wallis is married to Traci (Snodgrass) Wallis and they are blessed with three children and three grandsons.

The Wallis family attends Mobberly Baptist church and serve through this local body of believers.
